Privacy
This notice describes how Sgbenefitsinfohub handles personal data sent to the desk. The desk opened in 2026. We are not a government agency and we do not process applications for any scheme described on this site.
Sgbenefitsinfohub is an independent reference desk. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any Singapore government agency, statutory board or insurer.
What we collect
From the notes-digest form: an e-mail address, the time of submission, and the consent checkbox. From the contact form: name, e-mail, topic, message text, time of submission, and the consent checkbox. Both forms include a hidden field used only to detect automated submissions.
We do not ask for NRIC numbers, dates of birth, household income, assessment reports or bank details. If a message includes those items, we do not use them to assess eligibility and we delete the attachments when we become aware of them. This desk does not run casework.
Server logs on shared infrastructure in Singapore may record IP address, browser type, date and the page requested. Those logs exist for security and availability, not for profiling households.
Why we use it
Digest addresses are used to send a short note when a rule, threshold or form in this vertical changes on our pages. Nothing else is sent on that list. Contact details are used to reply about the pages. We do not sell lists, we do not share addresses with insurers, and we do not use the inbox to market care services.
Legal bases under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 are consent, for the digest and the contact form, and legitimate interest in keeping the site secure, for logs. You may refuse the digest. The site remains readable without it.

Limits
We do not build eligibility files. We do not combine a digest address with a contact message to infer a household. We do not publish names. We do not use advertising cookies to follow you across other sites.
Retention and access
Digest addresses are kept while the subscription is active and for a short period after an unsubscribe so that we can complete the removal. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to reply and to have a record of a factual correction, then removed from active mailboxes on a routine clear-down.
To ask what we hold, to correct an address, or to withdraw consent for the digest, write to [email protected] from the same address, or use Contact. We may need to confirm that we are speaking to the right person before changing a subscription.
Processors and hosting
The site is hosted on shared infrastructure in Singapore. E-mail is delivered to [email protected]. Providers acting for us may see addresses only to host, back up or deliver mail. We do not transfer the digest list out of Singapore as a standing practice. If a processor’s location ever requires a note, this page will be updated.
Cookies used on this site are described on the Cookies page. They are not used to decide scheme eligibility.
