This log records when we re-read an official source, when we changed wording on this desk, and when a structural point needed a clearer sentence. It is not a gazette of government amendments. Dates are editorial dates for Sgbenefitsinfohub, which opened in 2026.
Sgbenefitsinfohub is an independent reference desk. It is not a government agency, insurer or broker. We do not accept, lodge or decide applications.
Each entry names the page or scheme cluster we touched and the reason. “Reviewed” means we compared the page with current public materials and left the structure in place. “Clarified” means we changed our wording because a sentence was being misread. “Aligned” means an official source had changed a label, a form name, or a process description and we followed it.
We do not log rumour, parliamentary questions, or draft consultations as if they were in force. If a change is announced with a future effective date, the log will say so. Until that date, the previous official wording is what applicants should use.
Full review of the scheme reference, eligibility, payout-structure and glossary pages against current public materials for the nine schemes. Clarified that this desk publishes structure rather than live S$ amounts. Updated the overview worked example so the household is explicitly hypothetical.
Expanded the glossary with portability of subsidy, claim lodgement and interim assistance. Added the six-pair table of terms that are easy to confuse, after questions that treated home care and the Home Caregiving Grant as the same instrument.
Aligned the assessment sequence with current lodgement language: who files a subsidy through a provider, who files an insurance claim with an appointed insurer, and who files MediSave Care with the Board. Added delay causes around mismatched names and stale assessments.
Clarified the three gates on the overview and eligibility pages. Cohort rules for CareShield Life, ElderShield and IDAPE now sit as a separate gate rather than a footnote under the clinical test, because identical ADL profiles were being compared as if they should produce identical cash.
Desk opened. First published set: nine-scheme board, means-test structure, payout-versus-subsidy distinction, and the independence statement used in the footer. No content on this site predates 2026.
We do not log individual enquiries, household facts, or application outcomes. This desk does not hold case files. A notes-digest subscriber receives a short message when a rule, threshold or form in this vertical changes on our pages. That message is not a personal status update.
We do not log every typographical correction. We do not log hosting or certificate events. “Hosted on shared infrastructure in Singapore” remains the public statement of where the site sits.
When an entry says “reviewed” or “aligned”, the materials are the public pages and forms issued by the ministries, statutory boards and appointed insurers that administer CareShield Life, ElderShield, MediSave Care, the Home Caregiving Grant, long-term care subsidies, the Seniors' Mobility and Enabling Fund, IDAPE, the Caregivers Training Grant, and home adaptation support for seniors.
We do not scrape applications, and we do not republish application PDFs. If a form number or a URL on an official site has moved, follow the official site. This log will note the change of label if it affects how our pages are read.
